Orange Load — Stage Installation

In La Cabrera, the scenography unfolded as a moving landscape of bodies, fruit, and rhythm. The mesh bag of oranges—carried across the space, pressed against surfaces, woven into gestures—became both burden and prop, a bright cluster of weight activating the choreography around it. While one performer moved through the score of the piece, others welcomed visitors on bales of hay, creating a rural stage where labour, colour, and fragility intertwined. Part of LAPIEZA’s Series 49, produced with the collaborative support of the team, the action revealed how a simple object can become a catalyst for collective presence. More than a decade later, the memory of that orange constellation still marks one of the earliest experiments in the long lineage of the project.
