Orange Stalactites — Ceiling Geometry Series

The ceiling became an improbable terrain: a field of lightweight orange forms pinned upward like inverted stalactites. These geometric cones, stapled carefully into place, hovered above the room as a suspended ecosystem of colour and repetition. Installed in collaboration, the series inverted gravity itself—objects meant to fall instead rising into a rhythmic constellation. The work celebrated the simplicity of materials and the radical potential of modest interventions: turning the studio into a chromatic canopy, a sculptural sky. Several variations followed, exploring shifts in palette and density, but the first installation remains a testament to how light, colour, and play can reconfigure the most ordinary of ceilings.
