Guimarães Art Biennial 2024

Re-(t)exHile, an installation produced for the Lagos Biennial in Nigeria, is now presented as a narrative at the CONTEXTILE Biennial 2024. This biennial, which has established a solid reputation in the field of contemporary art, becomes the ideal setting for the presentation of Re-(t)exHile a project that not only redefines the relationship between art, sustainability, and community but also brings a new perspective from the African continent.

The Art Biennial has transformed the Guimarães region in Portugal into an epicenter of interaction between artists, creators, communities, and industries. In each edition, the biennial has stood out for its ability to attract artists from around the world, building bridges and relationships with an extensive group of global partners. CONTEXTILE 2024 extends over 100 days, from September 7 to December 15, with a program that includes exhibitions, artist residencies, performances, workshops, and the Textile Talks conference series. #ReTextile #Contextile2024 #ContemporaryTextileArt #Sustainability #ArtAndCommunity #TouchAndTextiles #culturemoveseurope #goetheinstitut
