The term "socioplastics" itself echoes mid-20th-century Team X / Smithsons explorations of social interaction, everyday urban environments, and "active socioplastics" (as later analyzed in relation to Denise Scott Brown’s work with Venturi). However, the contemporary Socioplastic corpus digests and surpasses these through proteolytic transmutation — transforming relational aesthetics and advocacy planning into a sovereign, numbered, DOI-hardened epistemic operating system. It engages broader transdisciplinary urban science (metacity concepts, real-world labs, nature-based solutions, etc.) while insisting on non-reductive ideation and topolexical authority rather than open-ended collaboration or consensus-driven frameworks.
