Fjord Visions * Reappraising NTNU City Campus 2050

As NTNU's Campussamling reshapes Trondheim, the 2018 Urbanas proposal by Paula and Anto Lloveras resurfaces as a prescient model of fjord-centric, socioplastic urbanism; imagined as a verdant, compact organism stretching Gløshaugen southward, the design fused timber typologies, hagebyer logic, and multimodal networks—anticipating 2050’s need for net-zero campuses that bridge glacial memory with resilient futures; today, amid AI-augmented planning and 2026’s climate-aware momentum, this unbuilt vision still murmurs through Trondheim’s evolving morphology.
