Urban Anatomy * Taxidermy Series (2010–2025)

The city is an animal. Taxidermy Series enters a phase where each urban cut activates a broader network of meanings, transforming residual architecture into a fragmented but cohesive visual language. By dissecting materials—fabric, leather, metal, or wood—each piece transforms into an abstract composition, exploring themes of absence, presence, and reconstruction. This process, termed socioplastics, involves walking the city as a canvas and a supermarket, treating street furniture and fixtures as raw matter. The cuts—precise, intentional, and raw—function as situational fixers, adapting to and highlighting the uniqueness of each setting while questioning the boundaries of art, utility, and visibility. Nothing is wasted. No leftovers. (Lloveras, A. 2010–2025)
