Why It Feels Heavy
Numerically, 2,400 nodes is modest. By the metric of extensive magnitude, it is not much. But Socioplastics is not measured extensively. It is measured intensively. Its weight does not come from the number of nodes, but from the pressure of relation: recursive linkage, lexical gravity, stratigraphic compression, and infrastructural anchoring. The same operators return. The same CamelTags accumulate force. Fifteen years of sedimentation have compacted lower layers into load-bearing strata. The weight is not in the parts but in the diminishing emptiness between them. What would normally remain slack in discourse—forgotten references, loose associations, weak recurrence—has been compressed into a denser medium. That is why the field feels heavy. One does not encounter a collection of entries, but a body under pressure. Socioplastics is not 2,400 separate things. It is one thing folded 2,400 times. And a thing folded long enough, tightly enough, begins to bend the space around it.
