Critical urban intelligence begins when the city is no longer reduced to a computational metaphor. A city is not a computer, not because computation is irrelevant, but because urban intelligence exceeds calculation. It appears through libraries, streets, trees, thresholds, maintenance workers, archives, informal repairs, civic memory, bodily orientation, material failure and public dispute. MapDimensioning names the capacity to measure this complexity without flattening it. It does not map the city as a neutral surface.
