A field begins to exist when it can be used by others without permission. Publication marks appearance, citation marks recognition, adoption marks entry into shared structure. The decisive threshold for Socioplastics is therefore not production, scale, or visibility alone, but external reuse. A corpus becomes a field when it is taken up, rearticulated, cited, taught, linked, compared, and operationalised by actors beyond its author. Adoption is the first durable proof that a system has crossed from authored environment into public method. The first signal is citation: a DOI enters another bibliography and acquires external load. The second is teaching: a node, book, or concept enters a syllabus and becomes transmissible. The third is terminology: a term such as FlowChanneling or SemanticHardening appears in foreign prose and begins semantic migration. The fourth is dataset use: the corpus is queried, forked, downloaded, or recombined as machine-readable structure. The fifth is the external link: a project index, book, or DOI is linked from outside its native channels, generating infrastructural recognition. The sixth is institutional mention: a university, museum, archive, or lab names the field as a usable referent. The seventh is pedagogical reuse: a reading path, module, exercise, or Tool Paper is adapted for another context. The eighth is graph uptake: Socioplastics appears in OpenAlex, Wikidata, ORCID, or Google Scholar through external relation. The ninth is comparative placement: the system is positioned beside other authors, methods, or fields. The tenth is independent explanation: someone explains Socioplastics accurately in their own words. At that point, the field has detached from authorship and entered circulation.

LAPIEZA-LAB · Madrid · 2009–present
50 DOI-anchored research objects. 25 indexed books. One public field. Socioplastics currently exists as a distributed epistemic infrastructure composed of fixed research objects, long-duration textual mass, and a navigable public index. What began as serial writing has consolidated into a coherent field architecture where documents, books, concepts, and identifiers reinforce one another through structured recurrence and durable linkage. No institutional shelter was required. No commercial platform mediates its legibility. The corpus has acquired enough density to function as its own architecture, its own archive, and its own public interface. Everything else—subfields, pedagogy, rhythm, method—remains embedded in the structure below.
