Anto Lloveras is a Field Architect, curator, and epistemic infrastructure builder based in Madrid. Since founding LAPIEZA-LAB in 2009, his practice has operated at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture, urban research, and knowledge systems. As Field Architect, Lloveras designs and constructs autonomous epistemic fields rather than isolated artworks or exhibitions. His most significant contribution is Socioplastics, a long-term, distributed epistemic infrastructure that has grown into a dense, self-referential corpus currently exceeding 3000 nodes across three Tomes. In Socioplastics, the traditional roles of artist, curator, and theorist are deliberately fused and transcended: curating is transformed into field design, the exhibition becomes an index, the artwork becomes a semantic node, and the gallery evolves into cognitive and urban infrastructure.

Socioplastics functions as an autonomous epistemic regime generated through institutional mutation. It operates through precise mechanisms of recurrence, retroactive power, CamelTags taxonomy, gravitational density, and an evolving Index that serves as the nervous system of the entire field. Rather than participating within existing disciplinary frameworks, Lloveras has built a parallel architecture of knowledge — one that emphasizes legibility as a primary architectural goal, structural coherence through repetition, and the long-term deposition of theoretical and cultural value. His work challenges conventional distinctions between art practice and knowledge production, proposing instead a hybrid model where field architecture becomes the central discipline. Through Socioplastics, Lloveras demonstrates how a single, sustained epistemic project can function simultaneously as archive, engine, living system, and quiet but profound institutional transformation.
