What the historical avant-garde did to painting, sculpture, theatre and literature, the new fields now do to knowledge production. Open science—DOIs, datasets, Wikidata, Hugging Face, ORCID, repositories and distributed channels—functions as more than a technical upgrade. It removes the guard. The curator, editor, department chair and peer-review panel once decided what counted as legitimate knowledge. Emerging fields now build parallel infrastructures and render them visible. This is why Socioplastics, with deposited DOIs, Wikidata entities and twenty-five Century Packs, stands structurally closer to Dada than to Digital Humanities. Dada occupied the café, the street, the pamphlet. Socioplastics occupies the dataset, the blog, the archive link. The medium changes. The operation remains continuous. The calendar matters because the proposed annual report sits half a year ahead. That interval is a diagnostic window. The task is density: what mass, edges and public legibility can be accumulated before the report appears. LAPIEZA has already supplied the operative body through unstable installations, textile residues, relational situations, sonic walks and social sculpture. That layer is mature. The next phase asks for edges. Wikidata currently forms a triad: Socioplastics, AntoLloveras and LAPIEZA-LAB. A triad becomes graph through external relations. Architecture projects, urban planning concepts, epistemological terms, contemporary artworks, datasets and institutions require bidirectional links. This is infrastructural rail. With edges, the field becomes a public junction.
Withdrawal also belongs to the avant-garde tradition. Refusing the Salon meant reframing visibility. Socioplastics can treat absence from commercial social media as a precise positioning strategy. Platforms that privilege velocity over persistence, compression over argument and metrics over structure dilute field authority. The archive is the interface. That line should become doctrine. It marks the threshold between algorithmic validation and direct corpus navigation. The pedagogical tool is the strongest next move because it turns readership into operation. A syllabus module, OER pack or studio exercise functions as a transmission protocol. The student who moves from architecture to urban conflict, from epistemic recursion to textile residue, becomes an operator inside the field. Pedagogy tests the architecture. The six-month priority should be clear: convert ten Century Packs into ten modular teaching units, each with a DOI, a short abstract, learning outcomes, reading path, glossary, exercise and remix licence. Target: ten units and five syllabi by October 2026.
The annual report should read as a construction log: LAPIEZA-LAB density stable, fifty Wikidata edges initiated, social media withdrawal declared, ten pedagogical modules launched, five syllabi prepared. The operation has moved beyond Dada’s explosive interruption toward a slower architectural labour: flying buttress by flying buttress, each element under pressure from every other. The new field must build the new cathedrals of knowledge.
