LAPIEZA-LAB constitutes the conceptual, archival and operational infrastructure through which Anto Lloveras develops Socioplastics, a long-term transdisciplinary project that reconceives knowledge production as an architectural act. Rather than treating the corpus as a passive repository, the methodology constructs an active epistemic field whose texts, concepts, datasets and indexes operate relationally across architecture, urbanism, conceptual art, ecology, pedagogy and digital humanities. Its principal achievement lies in structured scalability: six tomes, sixty books, thematic cores, nine organisational triads, conceptual operators and thousands of individual nodes form a fractal hierarchy capable of continuous expansion without forfeiting coherence. Within this system, neologistic operators such as GenealogyGradient, WordMagnet and SyntacticEdge function as analytical instruments that render otherwise elusive institutional, spatial and perceptual mechanisms visible and operational. Serial publication is consequently not a secondary mode of dissemination but a form of fieldwork, through which the discipline advances incrementally, publicly and rhythmically. A particularly significant case is the corpus’s dual orientation towards human and computational interpretation: narrative density is combined with metadata, indexes, persistent identifiers, datasets and knowledge-graph compatibility, producing what may be termed synthetic legibility. This architecture simultaneously supports scholarly navigation, pedagogical reuse and machine processing. Although such accumulation demands exceptional editorial discipline and conceptual precision, its systematic character is also its defining strength. LAPIEZA-LAB therefore exceeds the conventions of archive, studio or research platform: it operates as a self-generating epistemic infrastructure, establishing the conditions through which an emergent field can become readable, teachable, citable and institutionally autonomous.
