StratumAuthoring

StratumAuthoring names the deliberate production of layers within a record, territory or institution. Archive, strata, worlding and spacetimemattering converge when successive inscriptions—a palimpsest, a city’s foundations or a versioned database—remain visible and operational rather than disappearing beneath a final surface. The operator distinguishes passive accumulation from intentional layering and treats depth itself as an act of authorship.
