It names too quickly, too lightly, without recurrence or consequence. Then what breaks is the relation between language and world. The word becomes surface noise, promotional dust, a sign without pressure. Nothing gathers around it because nothing is asked of it.

An idea blossoms in the word when naming becomes an act of contour, relation, and commitment. A word can be shelter, weapon, bridge, hinge, or protocol.
