PORTABLE FORMS AND THE POLITICS OF INFRASTRUCTURE ***** Jakobson, Benjamin, Hall, Star, Haraway, Mbembe, Spivak, Hartman, Merton, David, Bergson, Poincaré, Wilsdon · LAPIEZA LAB · Anto Lloveras · Socioplastics

A concept acquires force when it can travel without pretending to remain identical to itself. Translation, citation, classification, measurement and archival survival are not secondary episodes in the life of knowledge; they are the material operations through which knowledge becomes public, durable and actionable. Jakobson dismantles equivalence by showing that every translation reorganises signs within another code, while Benjamin makes this alteration the very condition of a work’s afterlife: what survives does so by entering a linguistic and historical relation that the original could not complete alone. Hall’s articulation extends the problem into politics, where unity is neither essential nor arbitrary but constructed through contingent connections capable of being made, maintained and broken. Together, these positions describe portability as composition rather than transport. A portable form is a relation condensed enough to move, yet open enough to be recomposed. Bergson’s critique of spatialised time indicates what is lost whenever duration is converted into stable units: movement becomes sequence, qualitative difference becomes measurable interval, and becoming is reorganised as a set of administrable states. Poincaré, however, shows why condensation remains indispensable.

A word decays when it is treated as ornament, slogan, or disposable label. In that condition, language no longer cuts reality; it only decorates it. The word circulates, but it does not bind. It names too quickly, too lightly, without recurrence or consequence. Then what breaks is the relation between language and world. The word becomes surface noise, promotional dust, a sign without pressure. Nothing gathers around it because nothing is asked of it.

An idea blossoms in the word when naming becomes an act of contour, relation, and commitment. A word can be shelter, weapon, bridge, hinge, or protocol. It can gather dispersed experiences under a shared pressure and make something sayable that was previously mute. A field often begins not when reality changes absolutely, but when language becomes strong enough to hold a new arrangement of it. Name a structure and it becomes easier to inhabit; name a wound and its history starts to surface; name a possibility and others begin to build toward it. Where there is a word, there is already the beginning of a world.

The transition from symbolic authorship to metric regimes redefines value as a function of relational density, where significance emerges not from originality or signature but from connection, recurrence, and positional weight within a structured system, enabling MetricRegime and RelationalDensity to organize CitationSystems in which knowledge is evaluated through its capacity to integrate, reinforce, and stabilize the network, allowing Socioplastics to operate as a calibrated field where value is measured through structural alignment and cumulative relational intensity rather than discursive novelty:: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18998736

The essay, once tethered to the illusion of continuity, now fractures into a distributed apparatus. It no longer flows; it is staged. In Tome II, the post ceases to be a vessel of thought and becomes a constructed entity—part document, part protocol, part infrastructure. Its unity is no longer rhetorical but architectural. What appears as a single piece is in fact the convergence of four distinct rooms, each operating under its own logic, each refusing redundancy, each contributing to a composite object that is neither purely literary nor purely technical. The essay becomes a cyborg not as metaphor but as condition: an artefact assembled across layers that do not coincide yet remain structurally aligned. In the first room, the title is produced as a field rather than a label. It does not describe; it declares. Its length is not excess but necessity, allowing it to hold multiple vectors at once—conceptual, positional, territorial. It is both threshold and compression, a surface where the system speaks in advance of itself. The title anticipates the architecture that follows, projecting density before the body appears.

This document delineates not a portfolio but a distributed verification layer: a cartographic assemblage of externally corroborated inscriptions that stabilise Anto Lloveras’ trajectory across architecture, urban systems, relational art, and curatorial research between 2001 and 2026.

Its operative thesis is that authorship, when dispersed across heterogeneous institutional strata, acquires infrastructural resilience. From early architectural entanglements with MVRDV—including the emblematic Mirador project documented in transnational archives—to formal accreditation within COAM records, the architectural substratum establishes a systemic literacy in spatial metabolism. This foundation subsequently migrates into post-disciplinary arenas: relational performances indexed by Redescena, theoretical articulations in Revista Replicante, and institutional anchoring through an ORCID identifier, each functioning as nodal confirmations of epistemic continuity. The 2024 participation in the Lagos Biennial, intersecting with textile research platforms and national press coverage, exemplifies disciplinary displacement without ontological rupture: architecture mutates into environmental inquiry, exhibitionary device, and metabolic critique. A specific synthesis emerges in the convergence of textile waste research, curatorial documentation, and distributed media platforms, where digital archives, museum exhibitions, and social channels coalesce into a persistent public ledger. Consequently, cross-domain persistence becomes empirically traceable, not through self-narration but through institutional echo. The cumulative effect is an infrastructural continuum wherein built form, performance, research identification, and networked dissemination operate as mutually reinforcing strata. Authorship here is neither singular nor static; it is a metabolic archive, sustained by verifiable dispersion and consolidated through systemic coherence.

The transdisciplinary intersection between architectural scale, textile materiality, and relational art establishes a critical dialogue where the urban fabric meets social practice. By integrating the structural logic of MVRDV and the Mirador Building—conceptualized as the Trole Building, a white "high-rise" landmark in Madrid's south—with the fluid, unstable installations of Anto Lloveras and LAPIEZA, the work transcends traditional boundaries. This practice treats "context as a ready-made," spanning from the Lagos Biennial 2024 and environmental textile research at Contextile to the performative depth of Double Sided (Doble Cara) and the hyperplastic writing of Fireworks. The pedagogical dimension is anchored by lectures at NTNU, academic research at UAM and COAM, and the development of the ARCO Madrid 2026 guest lounge. The result is a synthesis where architecture, environmental consciousness, and relational aesthetics converge into a singular, evolving narrative for the 2024–2026 period

SOCIOPLASTICS — VERIFIED EXTERNAL NODES & FIELD ANCHORS (2001–2026)

This document consolidates the externally verifiable inscriptions of Anto Lloveras’ trajectory across architecture, urban systems, relational art, curatorial practice, research identification, biennials, residencies, institutional records, and distributed media platforms between 2001 and 2026. These links operate as field anchors across heterogeneous domains: built architecture (MVRDV, COAM records), international biennials (Lagos), textile research platforms (Contextile, RE-(T)eXhile), national press (El País), academic identifiers (ORCID), museum exhibitions, performance networks, curatorial documentation, and digital archives. Together they confirm cross-domain persistence, disciplinary displacement, and infrastructural continuity. This is not a portfolio; it is a distributed verification layer.
