NATURAL SQUAD SERIES ____________________________________ANTISYMPOSIUM 2.0__________________UDDEBO SWEDEN MMXIX


When we talk about the importance of relational art as a symbiotic agent, we refer to the underlying potential in the associative structural form of the agents involved in the generation of the concept of art. The concept was and is the fundamental basis of conceptual art and its contemporary ramifications in relational forms, in its social and political aspects. In this second edition of an ANtiSymposium, the work concept has been developed again in an emerging community in Uddebo, Sweden. Organizing artists have advanced in the form of representation, insisting on the same community and natural territory, in a forest next to a river. The possibility of living together for a few days, with crossed conversations between the guests, without prior program, allows each one to display his discursive tactics without the need for a script. Artists, programmers, critics, architects, curators and guest directors from a dozen countries, we have lived immersed in the rural context, sharing walks through the forest, canoe routes, dives and saunas at sunset. Coexistence as an intense and tasty art form. The possibility of action from the personal parameters of creation without over-action or program, is the guideline for the generation of memorable moments without stridency. The conservative form and the intersection of ideas from one and the other form the temporary squad project. A subtle, almost invisible piece, where the body assumes its own responsibility in the balance of tones. The possibility of developing new meetings associated with biennials and triennials is already fixed. Relational art as a non-objective participatory form is already prevalent in the forums of legitimate art at the commercial and institutional level.


Of course a natural environment, a semi-virgin landscape, with trees, rivers and hills, contains not only the psychological restorative potential necessary to activate the processes of appropriation of the context, but also other more complex mechanisms related to eudaimonia. These mechanisms of appropriation, restoration and projection towards an elegant and healthy future, allow conversations based on novel transactions, since the traditional currencies of exchange, associated with the own symbolic capitals and the social capitals acquired in practice, pass to a second order at the time of art as a transnational form, where the act of sharing is the work itself, therefore not transferable. This of course does not mean that the staging of the collective work, you can not or need to be fixed in the form of a copy, through photography, video, audio and narratives, but we already enter the form of a copy of W. Benjamin, who it needs major essays, already very worked by the theory, and that deviate from the subject treat in this series, the relational art as legitimate form in scenarios of high legitimacy. We are already preparing the following editions in contexts with active agents and new bodies that are assumed as a basic ingredient in the form now.

Cuando hablamos de la importancia del arte relacional como agente simbiótico, nos referimos al potencial subyacente en la forma estructural asociativa de los agentes implicados en la generación del concepto de arte. El concepto fue y es la base fundamental del arte conceptual y de sus ramificaciones contemporáneas en las formas relacionales, en sus vertientes sociales y políticas. En esta segunda edición del AntiSymposium, se ha desarrollado el concepto de obra de nuevo en una comunidad emergente en Uddebo, Suecia. Los artistas organizadores han avanzado en la forma de la representación, insistiendo en una misma comunidad y en un territorio natural, en un bosque junto a un río. La posibilidad de convivir unos días juntos, con conversaciones cruzadas entre los invitados, sin programa previo, permite a cada uno desplegar sus tácticas discursivas sin necesidad de guión. Los artistas, programadores, críticos, arquitectos, comisarios y directores invitados de una docena de países, hemos vivido inmersos en el contexto rural, compartiendo paseos por el bosque, rutas en canoa, inmersiones y saunas al atardecer. La convivencia como forma de arte intensa y sabrosa. La posibilidad de acción desde los parámetros personales de creación sin sobreactuación ni programa, es la pauta para la generación de los momentos memorables sin estridencias. La forma conservativa y la intersección de ideas de uno y de otro da forma al proyecto de escuadrón temporal. Una pieza sutil, cuasi invisible, donde cuerpo asume su propia responsabilidad en el equilibrio de tonos. La posibilidad de desarrollar nuevos encuentros asociados a bienales y trienales queda ya fijada. El arte relacional como forma participativa no objetual es ya imperante en los foros de arte legitimado a nivel comercial e institucional.



Por supuesto un entorno natural, un paisaje semivirgen, con árboles, ríos y colinas, contiene no solamente el potencial restaurador psicológico necesario para activar los procesos de apropiación del contexto, sino también otros mecanismos mas complejos relacionados con la eudaimonia. Estos mecanismos de apropiación, restauración y de proyección hacia un futuro elegante y saludable, permiten conversaciones basadas en transacciones novedosas, ya que las monedas tradicionales de cambio, asociadas a los capitales simbólicos propios y a los capitales sociales adquiridos en la práctica, pasan a un segundo orden en el momento del arte como forma transnacional, donde el hecho de compartir es la obra en sí misma, por tanto no transferible. Esto por supuesto no significa que la puesta en escena de la obra colectiva, no puedes o necesite ser fijada en forma de copia, través de fotografía, video, audio y narrativas, pero entramos ya en la forma de copia de W. Benjamín, que necesita de ensayos mayores, ya muy trabajados por la teoría, y que desvían del tema tratar en esta serie, el arte relaciónal como forma legítima en escenarios de alta legitimación. Preparamos ya las siguientes ediciones en contextos con agentes activos y nuevos cuerpos que se asuman como ingrediente básico en la forma ahora.

The International Encounters of Community and Environmental Sociology will take place this year, once again, in the rural Swedish village of Uddebo from the 4th through the 7th of July. This meeting  will serve as a site for participants to exchange and share their experiences and to discuss the future of independent cultural frameworks. The second edition of International Encounters of Community and Environmental Sociology, New Forms of Contemplation for a New Society, continues to develop, as in the previous edition, as an interdisciplinary space of conversation on how to create new approaches in cultural policies based on the models of the auto-sustainable infrastructures. We have chosen Uddebo as the base of the IECES because we view Uddebo as an inspiring place where one can visualize the ecooperative development of the neighbourhood in helping to organize, enhance, and strengthen the participation of the community. The focus of the event’s program will consist of non-activities, experiences, and participation in the local and social milieu of Uddebo and its surroundings. For this second edition of International Encounters we have selected a group of international experts specializing in the field of art and culture whose labor is based in the independent cultural framework. Our participants range from artists, thinkers, academics, curators, composers, and architects. The project hopes to bridge the local and the international through creating a place for meeting and conversation between participants in the symposium and members of the Uddebo community. International Encounters creates an opportunity for those involved to share their experiences related to the development of art and cultural projects that are integrated in community and environmental sociology with voices represented both from Uddebo and a larger international community. The goal of the project is to develop in both the public and private sphere a collective thought or aim that will serve as an important tool in improving the relationship between sustainable development and social integration with the quality of culture. In fact, International Encounters views the relationship between culture and sustainable development an imperative. Bringing various participants together to discuss this topic will serve to create a larger transnational discourse on the imperative to merge cultural thought, sustainable development, and social integration. The project channels the collective intelligence and viewpoints of each participant and therefore will help to develop and improve the quality of art and culture by contrasting and channeling each participants unique ideas and perspectives. The project aims to create and foster a cultural and artistic ecosystem with a very active link with the non-state public culture. In this ecosystem the various actors are engaged in a social system outside of the practice of consumption. More specifically, we want to reflect on the systematic dimensions of building a sustainable culture in communities where societies can develop in a direction towards a post-human perspective and a meeting place for the exchange of experiences of participants, whose objective will be to consider the future of this great independent cultural framework.
Producing this event can be viewed in tandem with several of our previous projects where we consider similar themes. For example, our latest work was the creation of a nonprofit organization whose work focuses on promoting research in the sciences and humanities that strives to improve the quality of interaction of all living beings belonging to the same social ecosystem. This gathering will allow participants to share projects, meet potential collaborators, and find the inspiration to work collectively to consolidate a base for a future network of collaborations between the participating actors and the inhabitants belonging to the Uddebo community.





Los Encuentros Internacionales de Sociología Comunitaria y Ambiental se llevarán a cabo este año, una vez más, en la aldea rural sueca de Uddebo del 4 al 7 de julio. Esta reunión servirá como un sitio para que los participantes intercambien y compartan sus experiencias y discutan el futuro de los marcos culturales independientes. La segunda edición de Encuentros Internacionales de Sociología Comunitaria y Ambiental, Nuevas formas de contemplación para una nueva sociedad, continúa desarrollándose, como en la edición anterior, como un espacio interdisciplinario de conversación sobre cómo crear nuevos enfoques en políticas culturales basadas en los modelos. de las infraestructuras autosostenibles. Hemos elegido Uddebo como la base de IECES porque vemos a Uddebo como un lugar inspirador donde se puede visualizar el desarrollo ecooperatorio del vecindario para ayudar a organizar, mejorar y fortalecer la participación de la comunidad. El proyecto espera unir lo local y lo internacional a través de la creación de un lugar para reuniones y conversaciones entre los participantes en el simposio y los miembros de la comunidad Uddebo. International Encounters crea una oportunidad para que los participantes compartan sus experiencias relacionadas con el desarrollo de proyectos artísticos y culturales que se integran en la sociología comunitaria y ambiental con voces representadas tanto de Uddebo como de una comunidad internacional más grande. El objetivo del proyecto es desarrollar en el ámbito público y privado un pensamiento u objetivo colectivo que sirva como una herramienta importante para mejorar la relación entre el desarrollo sostenible y la integración social con la calidad de la cultura. De hecho, los Encuentros Internacionales consideran que la relación entre cultura y desarrollo sostenible es un imperativo. Reunir a varios participantes para discutir este tema servirá para crear un discurso transnacional más amplio sobre el imperativo de fusionar el pensamiento cultural, el desarrollo sostenible y la integración social.

HUMAN RIGHTS AND CULTURE CONGRESS___________________POSTORY :::::::: Gentrification, Turistization and Memory _______________UAM MADRID LAPIEZA

Today's world faces political, social, economic and cultural challenges that require urgent responses. The rise of ultranationalist and xenophobic governments puts democracy, multilateralism and respect for human rights at risk. Violence is expressed in multiple ways, from aggression and war, but also from structures that perpetuate poverty and social inequality and impede the full development of the human being. Overcoming relationships of violence, peacefully transforming conflicts and moving towards a culture of peace is urgent and requires the commitment and involvement of the academic community in articulation with social movements. The purpose of the congress is to create a space for meeting and debate between researchers and researchers, social movements and civil society organizations on theoretical and practical aspects, challenges and challenges related to human rights, democracy, the culture of peace and nonviolence , as well as formulate proposals that contribute to forming peaceful, inclusive and respectful societies with human rights. The congress will be structured in three axes: Culture, Democracy and Human Rights organized in panels of debate between personalities of national and international prestige, round tables with representatives of civil society organizations and presentation of communications on experiences and academic work related to the topics congressional.
