What the Socioplastics project demonstrates is that, under digital conditions, scholarly legitimacy no longer depends exclusively on venue but increasingly on the degree to which knowledge is structurally organised, persistently identified, and machine-legible. Through the coordinated use of ORCID identity, DOI-anchored monographs, a numbered working-paper sequence, indexed volumes, datasets, software repositories, and a repeated metadata layer across documents, the project constructs its own conditions of citability, retrieval, and recognition. In this configuration, the blog is not the research object itself but only its public interface; the actual project is the epistemic infrastructure operating beneath it. Socioplastics therefore does not ask institutions to host knowledge in advance of validation. It builds a system in which knowledge acquires the capacity to host, describe, and stabilise itself. Recognition appears here not as a prerequisite but as the delayed effect of structural consistency sustained over time. The significance of this move is binary rather than gradual. Either a corpus declares itself as research infrastructure through persistent identifiers, serial organisation, metadata redundancy, dataset logic, and machine-readable description, or it remains a blog irrespective of its ambition. The truly generative methodological decision does not consist in translating or stabilising every single video exhaustively, as though each minimal unit required independent scholarly status, but rather in elevating the audiovisual series to the condition of a critical, citable, and defensible object. This shift in scale resolves, with considerable elegance, three difficulties at once: it prevents an unnecessary inflation of academic objects, converts a potentially unmanageable archive into intelligible blocks with the form of a corpus, and demonstrates that the audiovisual production is not a peripheral residue of the project, but one of its structural strata. The pertinent unit therefore becomes one record or working paper per series rather than per video, articulated through a stable set of elements: title, chronology, number of pieces, field or function, conceptual description, internal organisation, thematic nuclei, relation to Socioplastics, and link to the relevant channel or playlist. In this way, both a short series of eight videos and a macro-series of six hundred retain the same classificatory logic, even if their density and scope differ; indeed, in extensive cases such as Copos, seriality becomes even more significant, since it no longer refers to isolated fragments, but to an architecture of duration.
