FLIPAS. Camino a Frankfurt 2022 Goethe___________roBOzEE****TOeZIO_____RAYboom_____________DAY 02

> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkdkNV2p3qM

FLIPAS ! Goethe Madrid______AC/E___2022
FLIPAS! is a vibrant convergence of live arts and contemporary urban expression, conceived as an experimental project at the Goethe-Institut in Madrid with the support of Acción Cultural Española, where creators from diverse disciplines—choreographers, dancers, graffiti artists, musicians and visual storytellers—gather to explore the boundaries of movement, image and sound within an urban environment reimagined as stage, laboratory and archive. This edition, titled “Camino a Frankfurt”, unfolds as a journey that documents, challenges and reconfigures performative practices through a ten-part audiovisual series available online, each film acting as a capsule of thought and gesture, ephemeral memory and visual trace. Central figures include Toezio and Robozee, performers whose presence articulates a grammar of the robotic, temporal jump cuts and ellipses as tools of rupture and rhythm, while J. Mayoraga offers theoretical reflections on void, silence and tangency between art forms. The process is documented through artist Anto Lloveras’ blog, chronicling each day’s detours, from studio workshops to performative urban strolls along Madrid Río, revealing the city itself as a space of choreography. A specific case emerges in the Saturday workshop, where the teaching of basic arm and foot movements becomes an act of aesthetic appropriation by the collective body. This project not only celebrates hybridity but constructs a moving archive, a cartography of urban gesture that travels with body and memory towards new cities.
