Open-air sculpture in the public realm embodying symbolic, historic, and aesthetic value even though the preservation requires collaboration between art historians, curators, conservation technicians, the wide public, and the sculptor or the sculptor's estate.
The project SAMSA orient itself on expand the territorial, geographical boundaries between classical and new media sculpture conceptsattracting new publics.
The aim of SAMSA is to establish a creative HUB with the artists, theoreticians, documentarists, curators, designers, producers, different publics related to contemporary sculpture discourse. Motilities between partners and artists involved in the project embrace the wide rural destinations, where most of the residential centers for artist are as well as the urban cities scales. The open air sculpture museums and parks are bringing art in the public spaces since theirs begging. Partners' institutions will enhance supportive environment in relation to information-communication technologies, digital culture and art creation, from sculptural production and presentation to research and education.
Therefore main focus of SAMSA is to develop new cultural and linguistic sculpture practices and to share them with a large public in a common European HUB, which promotes mobility of artist. Beside classical forms of sculpture (stone, terracotta) the project is proposing new forms as audio-visual sculpturing, on-line sculpturing, sustained art sculpturing and other forms. The SAMSA web-platform is an innovative resource that opens up access to all these and other resources: open-lab, events, digitalization of archival material, publications, workshops, symposia and seminars, public sculpture projects. A field of interconnections for individuals, initiatives and organizations. The calendar of activities is a result of interdisciplinary art creation and production focused on contemporary sculptures and its socialization.
SAMSA’s final goal is to develop a new cultural model on the field of sculpture for wider research and dissemination all over Europe.

Who - ex-yugoslav memebers are the begginng energy, the ones that seed the idea. A post traumatic scenario is a place where new concepts need to be developed. FORMA VIVA is a seed, that will expand globally through the net. A nes sort of plant that can only be born is such scenarios, so it is a sort of experimental idea that will work as a template

It is great to know that we are all willing to win this competition for funds.
The fresh idea of expanding our ongoing projects is a good motivation. I just started to map the idea, so all content and names you want to add will be great to make readable schemes for the presentation, alltogether with the text and few images. The concept of having artists, historians, mentors and critics moving from one project to the other is great to start. To show the stream is KEY.
THE SAMSA SCULPTURE WILL BE DIRECTLY PORPORTIONAL TO THE COMPLEXITY WE CAN GENERATE; WITH THE AMOUNT OF WORK, THE SIZE OF THE NETWORK, AND THE INTERNATIONAL IMPACT OF ALL ACTIVITIES UNDER A COMMON NAME. SAMSA IS A NATURAL EMERGENCY. SAMSA, AS IN FREE GLOBAL MARKET, WHERE SMALL LOCAL COMPANIES GENERATE ALLIANCES TO REACH BEYOND THEIR BORDERS, WILL WORK AS A KIND OF HYBRID CORPORATION (ECONOMY AND NATURE), WHERE DIVERSE INTERESTS ARE PUT TOGETHER TO GROW A STRONGER ENTITY (CYBORG THEORY, DONNA HARAWAY).

INTRO . THE BODY
To present ourselves as a BODY that will produce something larger, better AND stronger than what we already do as organs, we have to define our lines of pre-production very clearly. In Porec, the main partner, the idea is to produce research and text, theory, connecting historians with critics curators and artists. In Kikinda, the concept is to produce works, the WORKSHOS, the atelier where to apply some formulas we have dicussed previously in Porec. Then, LAPIEZA, is the hub that connects internationally all the artists and texts and makes exhibitions, through relational curatorial. finally, maribor is the publicist, the media agent that will build the communication strategy. We all need each other to function. There is no SAMSA without one of the partners. That is the KEY. All cultural commodities (frankfurt school) are based on the forms of production so what we do here is generate a form that will research, exhibit, promote and reach new audiences through the internet. The form, is initially related to sculpture in a very open perspective. sculpture is a traditional form of art, and what we do in SAMSA, is present sculpture not as a physical entity bus as a concept (conceptual art is bases on ideas). In order to make SAMSA clearly seen as an entity, we have to develop a very synthetic and distinctive interface (the logos, the image, the type of text, the brans) that will be seen as a model of modernity in the way we communicate, in the way we present in the way it is seen.

LAPIEZA has already built several brands related to networks, so that will be one of our tasks. POREC has the infrastructure and the traditions of having seminars and conferences, leaded by historian ziherl, so it is the perfect place where to meet and discuss about sculpture in a broad sense. Kikinda has long tradition of WORKSHOP, so we have to make clear that artists from all over the world will meet there and produce in a natural environsment. LAPIEZA has a network of 165 artists globally, and will use all the connector to promote SAMSSA (MAPS). KIBLA has built communication systems before and will lead on this. The cross-polinization is also a key word, since we will transfer our knowledge one to another. To make the schedule and the transfer of agents from one place to the other is basic (brain images can show this, brain software i mean, i sent some test last week).

LAPIEZA is an artist network, directed since 2009 by Anto Lloveras, conceptual artist and relational cuarator. The net is conformed by 165 artist all around the world. LAPIEZA has differnt lines of work. ART SERIES - The current system of exhibions of art is very stable in almost every country. Artist run spaces (underground) Galleries(market) Cultural Centers (work for the state agents) Museums (High art) Biennales (legitmation platforms) and the magazines of the fields. All this is ok, however, LAPIEZA has generated its own secuence and rhythm of work, where each exhibition (first 40 in Madrid center, 100m2) is a variation from the one before, a secuence of exhibitions, where artists are generating a piece for ann evoloving series, related to other artists carrers and works. This system is the basical distinction of LAPIEZA, in relational curatorial, and hast evolved up to 74 exhibitions, where each one is published from different cities, Mexico, Londom, Trondheim, Provence and Praha have been the coties where we have launched the new series and narratives. Easch show is build with 10-30 aetworks. All of them numbers and places onlline in secuence. The series have the support of the spanish ministry of Culture, through sthe deparmentt of Cultural Industries. ART-SCIENCE - With the link of Eshter Lorenzo, that has directed science networks, we have developed several projects to make some interesting field visible online, making videos and webs, where the scientist that are usually hidden in universities, meet the real online possibilities of being part of the public sphere, and start to apply contemporary methodologies of education (MOOC) through the net. These projest have been made possible with the support of FECYT (Spanish agency for new technologies and eduction).

In all the works we do, a protocole is developed to generate confort in the partnerships and at the same time, to enlarge the memory online, so we always not only research and curate, but also produce content associated. FILMS. Each artist is filmed once or twice a year, making a serial documentary on each career, and adding pieces to thhe whole concept. PHOTOS - . All situations, works, performances are pictured and added to memory. CATALOGUES, texts. Are mostly built on artists that have worked for more
that 2 years asscoated to the project. So the body of work is stable and we can define lines of text for catalogue sand biennales. BLOGS. containers of all content. PRESS RELEASES Whereer distribute the blogs to be inserted in all kind of media and soocial media. FETIVALS - We participate and have organized many festivals (PUT LIST ?), seminars andconferences, expanding the methodology and d desire of all the works we make. We are happy to show and talk about then project wherever we are onvited to, so we can promote not only the artists that buiLd the concept, but the concept itslef. Double pleasure.

1 art direction in the interface. think and negotiate the form of products and protocols with partners. This is simple but very important, since publicity is how SAMSA IS perceieved (the suite) The work is like a marketing product, as in any other product. That will be the brand for SAMSA. (ART DIRECTIOS AND DESIGN). 2 research and history (with Jerica ZIHERL) to introduce theory and high culture as part of the production, and make a synthesis of that using the apparatus we did before. 3 Field trips to all cities were artist and seminars and workshops are. make photos videos and narratives. (list below, you are hosts and introducers to artist you want us to introduce in the shows)
4 Build 4 exhibitions. The main rol is this one, to go on, an work on all that will show and connect all new artist that are related to other partners, and intersect those artists with the network we have (the shows will have arist from croatia, serbia and slovenia, as seed, the motor of each exhibition, and will incorporate atists from scandinavia, mexico, japan, farance) The task is to have the four shows as a an international arfororum of artist, as political action, we will name the series UNITED NATION OF ART, where the structure and enpowerment of the parnerts will be fundamental to make certain historical relevance. 4 Promote all partners works - The idea in SAMSA is to incorporate the genetics of the partners, and learn from their structures and visions, and at the same time we show all the audiences we can reach the power of social sculptures (fundamental texts).
