Buen show.

The publishing art concepts as art
OCTOBER 2013

The FROZEN HEAT idea is to generate 10 online art shows in the coming two years (2014-2015). The shows will be launched from NORWAY, including norweigian, spanish, croatian, french and mexican artists. The series work as a constellation of exhibitions, independent yet relational. Each show is build with 10 artworks.

FUNDAMENTS

The online art shows are part of a complex and unstable process art show that involves more than 100 artists. During three years LAPIEZA was a hybrid between an arist-run-space and an art gallery. LAPIEZA ART SERIES has presented 58 exhibitions so far, with 750 numbered artworks. The structure  builds itself with a progressive methodology, directed by Anto Lloveras, permanent curator of the series, and Paula LLoveras, partner now in scandinavia (as part of the LLLL art agency). The series will expand their base in 2014 to Norway, Croatia and France. where there will be local associate artists and () and we are already making meetings and doing the contacts to build up the international art shows.

The need to enforce the culture-capital in the highly commercialized post-structural capitalist environment. The generation of bridges of new communication among artists around the world. The permanent exhibition in the internet of a complex and unstable art installation. The generation of an artistic form based on the real social networks of today. The intensification of the art scene online, where most of the people spend their time. The use of all media to enlarge the idea of the installation as social sculpture. The vector of all the series is the concept we work on ACTIVE SOCIOPLASTICS. A new form and speed in the exhibition and publication of the artworks. The idea is to build a solid body of work for each artist in the series, while we build the collective installation. Form and frame mix together to generate the evolution concept. These ideas are to be seen already online.

The series want to reach new audiences for art, using the media youth is now using as daily entertainment, placing art nutrients in the daily ration of consumed time online. The series are online-based. The idea is to evolute physical-shows to virtual shows, that can be seen faster and wider. The tools are always evolving and all data is transferred to the emerging databases. Each series present 10 artworks, the work of 10 artists. Every artwork is told in a text, in pictures and video. The artworks are numbered and the series have an evocative name to be remembered as part of the process. We combine artworks as curatorial process. The reach of the project is international, distributing the focus of publishing in 5 nodes in the coming two years. The series were launched in Madrid, and have been very active in Mexico city in 2013. The idea is to generate new nodes in France, Croatia and Norway in 2014 and 2015.

The raised questions are very relevant for us.

Are we ready to publish all kind of art?

- Yes, we balance the type and number of art forms so the body of the series is healthy.

Is LAPIEZA art series integrating different kind of art forms and making one online collective serial as art piece?

-Yes, LAPIEZA is a growing collective artwork, with the ADN of many artists, that have part of their careers linked to this concept.

Would it be possible to make physical art shows once in a while just to promote the permamnent online artshows ?

-Yes, there will be physical actions programed as part of the coming series. We love pop up spaces and fast fast galleries.

And we come up with some questions from the raised ideas.

-Would it be possible for artists to validate their activities by showing some or all of their work in online art galleries? Or is it still necessary for the burocrats to see the artists hanging their canvases in white spaces to get their finance?

Or

Is the permanent online artshow as necessary than the physical ephemeral ?

This conversation is part of the STRUCTURAL BASIS of FROZEN HEAT,
ONLINE ARTSHOWS (2014-2015) upcoming art series curated by LLLL
as satellites of LAPIEZA ART SERIES.

CONCEPT
The idea for the coming two years is to generate online artshows (2014-2015). The name of these series will be FROZEN HEAT, and the shows will be launched from NORWAY, including 20 norweigian, spanish, croatian, french and mexican artists. The series will work like A HUB for artists online, as well as permanent art show. All these exhibitions will be an extension to LAPIEZA ART SERIES, the relational curatorial we have been active with since 2009. The series are also part of our artistic process, since we have showed artworks at the series always since they started in 2009, and will develope new artpieces, one for each show. So, we have a double rol as artists and curators.

FUNDAMENTS
The online arthows are part of a complex and unstable process that involves more than 100 artists from around the world. During the last four years, we have been associated to LAPIEZA ART SERIES, that is a hybrid between an arist-run-sace and an art gallery. We have showed more than 50 art works (the amount of pieces to have 4 solo shows) developing a new methodology as permanent curators of the series. The series will expand their base in 2014 to Norway, directed by LLLL ART AGENCY. We are already having meetings and doing the contacts to build up the international art shows. (SEE PDF ATTACHED)

GOALS
The publishing and distribution of art concepts AS ART. The will and the power to enforce the culture-capital-flow in the nowadays highly commercialized post-structural consume oriented environment. The generation of bridges of new communication among artists around the world, and the generation of a permanent, and growing exhibition in the internet. The goal is to be active in the generation of new systems of production and distribution of art, AS ART. Furthermore, the generation of an artistic form based on the real social networks of today, takes lots of effort, since we have to study and produce in the same time. I like to be part of the intensification of the artscene online, where many of the people spend part of their time. The purpose of the method is to use all media to enlarge the idea of the installation as social sculpture. The vector of all the series is the concept we work on: ACTIVE SOCIOPLASTICS. A new form and speed in the exhibition and publication of the artworks. The main idea is to build a solid body of work for each artist in the series, while we build the collective installation. Form and frame mix together to generate the evolution concept.

These ideas are to be seen already online > lapiezalapieza.blogspot.com

The series are visible and easy to reach, ready for new audiences of art. By using the media youth is now using as daily entretainment, we are aware thet we are placing art nutrients in the daily ration of consumed time online.

PRODUCTS
The series are online-based. The idea is to evolute physical-shows to virtual shows, that can be seen faster and wider. The tools are always evolving and all data is transferred to the emerging and unstable free databases. Each series present 10 artworks, so to speak, the work of 10 artists.

Every artwork presented in the serie is composed by text, some pictures and video. The artworks are numbered and the series have an evocative name to be rememered as part of the process. We combine artworks as curatorial process.
REACHING
The reach of the project is international, distributing the focus of publishing in 5 nodes in the coming two years. The actual reach of the series is 100.000 hits online (blog) about 50.000 views of online videos, and 4.000 daily facebook followers.

Every month the new series are sent by email to 3.000 people that have registered online or at the artshows to recieve the bulletin.

LOCALIZATION : FROM WHERE
The series were launched in Madrid in 2009, and have been very active in Mexico city in 2013. The idea is to generate new nodes in France, Croatia and Norway in 2014 and 2015. Each node generates new contacts and agendas of visibilization. I curate te arthows in Norway, as part of the LLLL Agency.

CURATORIAL AND EDITORIAL METHODOLOLGY
The curatorial is divided in several steps, and the editorial is also multiscales, as well as the publishing. The idea is an ongoing process that requires a multitask work and very skilled daily works.

1 / Study of the artscene (studycase Norway 2014)
2 / Contact the artist, and demand of works selected online. Explanatory of the methodology od the art series.
3 / Reception of documentation. First selection of works.
4 / Setup of a meeting (visit to studio, visit to exhibition,) pre-producrion (cameras and recorders)
5 / meeting > generation of photos and videos of the artworks and the artist at work (one day)
6 / edition on conversation and editing of photos and videos (one day)
7 / online prepublishing of works (youtube, issuu)
8 / graphic design for every new show.  In all blogs, facebook, twitter...

Repetition of this method during 10 times to build the artshows.
Final edition of the show. Online post and massive distribuition.

PUBLISHING AT DAILY RYTHM
Every piece, photo, video and text is given in daily dosis at all channels.
