The construction of this small public building, regardless of the dimension of the action, is a reason for reflection on its ability to order the surrounding environment without distorting the existing scale. The objective of the proposal is the integration of the new building between the small and dispersed volumes of the municipality. The building breaks to fit the hinted concavity of the buildings and two existing acacias while being slightly delayed to achieve greater separation from the traffic lane. The Town Hall is divided into two volumes joined at the level of the Plaza by a glazed hall and a slightly inclined zinc roof, which gives access to both. The formal austerity of both volumes is inserted in the small scale of the urban fabric, one containing the plenary hall and the other the body of offices oriented to the South, facing the view of the invariable landscape of pine forests behind the road. A light staircase with a side-eye runs vertically through the three levels of the administrative area in front of a window that looks out onto the square. In this interior space from which the view of the square is dominated, the mayor's office opens from the background. The elements of the exposed reinforced concrete structure, load-bearing walls, and structural grid of screens and slabs configure the exterior enclosures with the intention of integrating the building in the chromatic scale of the place and achieving its stability over time with the solidity of the materials. On the north façade, only one and a half floors high, close to the inhabitants of the municipality, the carpentry of the access door, and the plenary hall are made of iroko wood. The clock on a smooth exploded view on the exposed concrete wall and the masts recall the institutional character of the small building.
